Cloud Foundations Consulting

The OIT Cloud Broker is not currently staffed to provide consulting services, however on a time available basis we can help with:

• Cost Optimization: Review existing cloud bills to find opportunites for cost savings or to help plan for future architecture changes to better fit the cloud consumption pricing model
• Architecture Review: Review of existing or proposed IAAS or PAAS architectures based on best practices from the Cloud providers, or other use cases we've encountered on campus or through the cross Higher Education groups we're involved with.
  • In some cases we'll be able to bring some vendor support into these reviews as well which can often be very helpful
• Migration Planning: As we gain experience helping groups on campus we'll be happy to share best practices for migration from on premise to cloud and any tips to smooth the process.
