Updates to DTN service affecting Globus, sftp, rsync

Update, 30 August (Wednesday)

We believe we've resolved all the network routing issues with the new DTN deployment. The new servers do have new SSH host keys, though, so you will likely need to re-accept the host key if you're doing ssh or rsync transfers to DTN. The new keys are below, and are valid for both dtn01 and dtn02.

We're still working on an authorization issue affecting Globus shared endpoints. We have a support request open upstream, and will report back when we find out what they recommend.

Be advised that we have recently updated the operating system for our data-transfer (DTN) service, which provides Globus as well as by-request support automated file transfer services. While this upgrade was intended to be non-disruptive, we've discovered a number of variations that may be affecting the service to end-users.

We are actively working to resolve these issues; but if you have trouble with DTN, including using Globus, rsync, sftp, or sshfs, please let us know at rc-help@colorado.edu.
