Training Formats

  • RC Quick Byte- A 20-30 minute session intended to provide essential information about a specific topic. You can expect to leave a 'Quick Byte' with the information you need to apply a tool, service, or concept.
  • RC Primer- A session that provides an introduction to concepts, systems, and tools. You can expect to leave a Primer with an introductory-level understanding of the topic.
  • RC Short Course- A training that provides an in-depth understanding of a concept, system, or tool. You can expect to leave a "Short Course" with a solid grasp of the topic.
  • RC Tech Lab- Sessions that are primarily hands-on and assume a basic conceptual understanding of the topic. You can expect to leave a tech lab having completed hands-on exercises related to the subject area.
  • RC Workshops- Half to multi-day training sessions that provide a thorough understanding of a subject matter using a mix of lectures and hands-on materials. You can expect to leave a workshop with the ability to utilize a service, system, or tool.
  • RC Micro-credentialed Courses- Multi-day courses designed to cover a wide breadth of material related to a topic. Upon meeting the pre-defined criteria, you can expect to leave a micro-credentialed course with a digital badge that allows your achievements to be displayed and shared.
